Admissions Pathway

How to Apply for Postgraduate Study

A rigorous, merit-driven evaluation framework administered directly by our 11 academic Boards of Study.

Stage I Preliminary Phase

Programme & Board Selection

Review curriculum specifications across 11 specialized Boards of Study. Determine whether your background qualifies for taught Master's (MSc/MBA) or research tracks (MPhil/PhD).

Stage II Dossier Compilation

Application File Submission

Submit the official application dossier accompanied by certified academic transcripts, degree certificates, two referee evaluation letters, and your initial research proposal.

Stage III Academic Evaluation

Board Interview & Review

Shortlisted applicants attend an interview conducted by the relevant Board of Study panel to verify prerequisites, research readiness, and supervisor assignment.

Stage IV Final Enrolment

Registry & Induction

Following formal board approval, complete admission fee payments with the Registry, register your course units, and attend the semester orientation ceremony.

Eligibility

Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor's degree with honors (or equivalent) from a recognized university in a relevant field of study.

A minimum GPA / class as prescribed by the respective Board of Study for the chosen program.

Proficiency in English, demonstrated through prior medium of instruction or a recognized language test.

For MPhil/PhD applicants, a research proposal endorsed by a prospective supervisor from the relevant Board.

Plan Ahead for Admissions

Admissions are conducted across structured semester intake periods throughout the academic year.

First Intake Period

January

Applications Open

Official call for applications across taught and research degrees. Prospective students may register and lodge documentation online.

Semester I Intake Call
Mid-Year Review

June

Submission Deadline

Final date for submission of completed application files, transcripts, and referee recommendations for the upcoming academic year.

Dossier Evaluation & Interviews
Academic Term

October

Semester Commences

Inaugural orientation ceremony, course registration, and commencement of scheduled lectures and laboratory research sessions.

Official Academic Commencement
